Karate Kid Remake Will Be Called Kung-Fu Kid

I remember watching Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita in an 80’s movie called Karate Kid where this thin young kid was being bullied by people in his new neighboorhood and he happens to be living beside a Japanese Karate Guru played by Pat Morita.

The remake, which will be called Kung-Fu Kid will be played by Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith, and Pat Morita’s equivalent would be none other than Jackie Chan (I love his films).

The film will be set in China but again, it borrows from the old film the idea of a young lad bullied by other kids and was taught to stand up for himself.

Jaden’s character however will be named Dre and not Daniel
